Elles sont également stockées sur le CD-ROM gratuit inclus, prêtes à être utilisées dans de multiples applications telles que la conception de sites Web, de lettres, de prospectus, etc. Les images simples peuvent être utilisées gratuitement pour bon nombre d'applications. Nothing is older, larger or more mysterious than the universe and few things have more visual impact than space. Images of the Universe contains more than a hundred exciting pictures of planets, meteorites, comets, stars, nebulae and remote galaxies for use as a graphic resource or inspiration. These pictures also are stored on the enclosed free CD-ROM and are ready to use in a variety of applications, such as web design, letters, flyers, etc. For many applications, single images can be used free of charge. L'auteur - Govert Schilling
GOVERT SCHILLING is a Dutch science writer and astronomy publicist. He is a contributing editor of Sky & Telescope magazine, and regularly writes for the news sections of science and New scientist. He is also the astronomy writer for De Volkskrant, one of the largest daily newspapers in the Netherlands, and frequently talks about the Universe on Dutch radio broadcasts. He has written numerous books on a wide variety of astronomical subjects, including Flash/The Hunt for the Biggest Explosions in the Universe (Cambridge 2002). in 2002 he was awarded the prestigious Dutch Eureka! prize for his work in popularising science.
