L'auteur - Walter Greiner

Walter Greiner est né le 29.10.1935 à Neuenburg en Thuringe (Allemagne). Après l'apprentissage du métier de serrurier, il a effectué des études de physique et de mathématiques aux Universités de Francfort et de Darmstadt. En 1959, il obtient son diplôme de l'Université technique (TH) de Darmstadt (Allemagne). Thèse de doctorat en 1961 à l'Université de Fribourg en Brisgau (Allemagne). Professeur assistant de 1962 à 1964 à l'Université du Maryland, College Park (USA). Depuis 1964 professeur titulaire à l'Université de Francfort. A partir de 1965 professeur et directeur de l'Institut de Physique théorique de l'Université Johann Wolfgang Goethe (Francfort/Main).
