Jeffrey R. Shapiro has specialized in Microsoft technologies since 1989, and has published eleven books on network administration and software development. He is technical lead and chief architect for ZLB Plasma Services, a firm with 50 locations throughout the U.S. As leader of ZLB's NetWare-to-Windows migration team, he architected its nationwide Active Directory, SQL Server, and Exchange network. Previously, he led Broward County, Florida's NetWare-to-Windows 2000 migration project, architecting three mission-critical high performance data centers supporting 6,000 users.

Jim Boyce is the author of Microsoft Outlook Version
2002 Inside Out. He is a former contributing editor and
monthly columnist for WINDOWS Magazine. Jim has authored
and co-authored more than 45 books about computer software
and hardware and is a frequent contributor to
http://www.winmag.com, http://www.techrepublic.com, and
other technical publications. He has been involved with
computers since the late seventies as a programmer and
systems manager in a variety of capacities. He has a wide
range of experience in the DOS, Microsoft Windows®,
Microsoft Windows NT®, Windows 2000, and UNIX environments.
In addition to a full-time writing career, Jim is a
founding partner and Vice President of Minnesota Webworks,
a Midwest-based Web development firm.

Marcin Policht has been involved in IT administration,
engineering, development, and training for 10 years.
Currently he works in one of the world's largest financial
institutions managing Windows 2000/XP environment. He
demonstrated his writing skills as the author of the first
book covering scripting with Windows Management
Instrumentation and as a contributor to
www.swynk.com—one of the most popular Web sites
dealing with Windows technologies. He has been also been
very active in the certification area, not only as one of
the first recipients of MCSE 2000 title, holder of MCSD,
but also as a Microsoft Certified Trainer and a member of
the team that established criteria for the Windows 2000
clustering certification exam.

Brian Patterson currently works as a software developer in central Illinois. Brian has been writing for various Visual Basic publications since 1994 and has co-authored several .NET related books, including Migrating to Visual Basic .NET and C# Bible.
