I hadn't told anyone at the seminary or at home, and I went to New York to see the Jesuit Provincial.#4 I was finally accepted into the Society of Jesus, and I was happy and excited. But I was also very stubborn, and when Father Kelly, the provincial, told me I would have to go back to the seminary, I refused. I was forced to leave the Society.
