After I returned to America, I literally kissed the ground at Idlewild Airport.#4 I married Abdul-Kareem in a civil ceremony in Poughkeepsie, New York. We had no family present. I was starin g out the window of our ship, Le Flandre, as we landed in Southampton, England. I loved being in a city without being surrounded by towering skyscrapers.
