I was always responsible for cooking the rice, and my dad was extremely critical of how it was cooked. If I cooked it wrong, it would mean the death of the entire five-course meal.#4 I grew up watching American action movies, and I was obsessed with all the larger-than-life American action heroes: Arnold, Stallone, Seagal, and Van Damme. I was sure I would never be able to love again after my dad brought home three pet chicks and took one of them away.
