Everyone who has awakened from a nightmare knows this to be true.#3 The brain can only focus on one thing at a time. To overcome this, you must focus on what you want to happen or some neutral thought. You must not suppress what you don't want to happen, but instead focus on what you do want to happen.#4 The law of dominant thought says that your mind will remember the most dominant thought. When you say to yourself not to do something, your mind will most likely do what you said not to do. When you say to yourself what you are going to do, your mind will most likely do what you said.
