L'auteur - Edward Morgan Forster

Edward Morgan Forster, connu sous le pseudonyme de E. M. Forster, était un romancier, nouvelliste et essayiste. Il a voyagé en Égypte, en Allemagne, en Inde et en Europe. Il est notamment l'auteur de Avec vue sur l'Arno et Howards End. La publication de Maurice, écrit vers 1913 mais publié seulement après sa mort en 1971, et de ses nouvelles explicitement homosexuelles ont été source de controverses. Cinq de ses sept romans ont été adaptés au cinéma.
