Résumé

Inside XML is designed to be the only XML book you need. It's as comprehsive as possible for a single book on XML to be, and there are dozens of real-world XML scenarios in this book. Un like other XML books, there are literally hundreds of examples here, fully tested and ready to use.

Master programmer and betselling author Steve Holzner opens XML up like no other author can, packing this book with every major XML topic today and detailing the ways XML is used now. From using XML in browsers to building standalone Java/XML applications, from working with XPointers and XLinks to XSL style language, from XML namespaces to data binding, it's all here. You get details on creating valid and well-formed XML documents, document type definitions, schemas, the XML Document Object Model (DOM), canonical XML, XML and databases, XML with cascading style sheets (CSS), Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSL) transformations, XSL formatting objects, converting XML documents to PDF format, server-side XML with Java Server Pages (JSP), Active Servet Pages (ASP), Java servlets, and Perl. All the XML you need is right here.

This book is designed to be the newtandard in XML coverage, more complete, and more accessible, than ever before.
