Effective project management
Robert K. Wysocki, Robert Beck
Résumé
Whether you're charged with developing a new payroll system, migrating to a new e-mail system, or any other type of IT project large or small, this popular book is the perfect place for a manager to begin the process. Unlike other project management books that simply give abstract advice, this timely, CD-ROM-enhanced Second Edition thoroughly immerses readers in a simulated real-world situation where they must perform as seasoned project managers and really make things happen. Using the most recent version of the powerful Microsoft Project tracking system, readers are mentored through a series of projects they are most likely to encounter on the job. The fully interactive CD-ROM makes it possible to put all of the book's principles, skills, and advice to the test.
