Résumé
Cannery Row by John Steinbeck is a vibrant and affectionate portrayal of a small community in Monterey, California, set during the Great Depression. The story revolves around the lives of the colorful residents of Cannery Row, a street lined with sardine canneries.At the heart of the novel is Doc, a gentle and wise marine biologist who runs a laboratory and is beloved by the community.
