Windows ME (Millennium Edition) is the latest version of
Microsoft's operating system for the home market. It is
essentially an upgraded edition of Windows 98, with new
multimedia facilities, improved hardware management,
simpler networking, and amended Internet software. PC
manufacturers are selling Windows ME PCs from September
2000, initially alongside Windows 98 PCs, but gradually
replacing them.
'Windows ME Made Simple' provides everything you need to know about running Windows ME and is ideal for those new to the Windows environment or who are upgrading from another version of Windows. Material on video and multimedia and on simple networking has been incorporated to reflect the developments in these fields.
