Résumé
With the advent of Windows 2000 VPN technology, network designers and administrators can design networks that save money, are easier to administer and maintain, and solve many connectivity problems. Windows 2000 Virtual Private Networking is a straightforward, stepby-step, procedural guide to implementing Windows 2000 VPN solutions in the workplace. This practical guide provides:
- Real-life scenarios, actual designs, and documentation of various tunneling solutions, including complex remote LAN configurations for branch and home offices
- Analysis of all common proxy, NAT, and firewall configurations related to VPNs
- Step-by-step procedures to configure L2TP, PPTP, and IPSec
- Deploy and configure VPN technologies, including certificates, remote access policy, complex routing, filtering, and effective name resolution
- Deploy an Active Directory environment using only VPNs
- Configure a client from a non-Windows environment, such as a Cisco' device, to use a Windows 2000 tunnel server
