The first graphics book provided an authoritative guide for programmers using
anywhere from 16 to 256 color images to build graphics applications with Microsoft's
VB. However, programmers have contacted the author directly at his VB-helper web
site to say that the book must be updated for the advanced color market-for more than
256 color, called "hi-color" or "true-color", the most complicated of all graphics. That's
why we're publishing this second edition to meet market demands. With more than 75%
change, the second edition gives programmers all they need to create every possible
color graphics application from 16 all the way through to advanced and for the most
popular versions of VB and to generate their own programs from the advanced color
models provided on the CD-ROM.

L'auteur - Rod Stephens

Rod Stephens - In a previous incarnation, Rod Stephens was a mathematician. During his stint at MIT, he discovered the joys of algorithms and graphics, and has been programming professionally ever since. During his career he has worked on an eclectic assortment of applications spanning such topics as repair dispatch, telephone switch programming, tax processing, and training for professional football players. Rod has written more than a dozen books that have been translated into half a dozen different languages, and more than 200 magazine articles covering Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications, Delphi, and Java.
