This book starts where the Microsoft Developer's Studio
tools leave off in teaching how to extend and
modify MFC code to meet the developer's criteria for enhanced Windows User interfaces. The author
provides solutions and working code to 67 common application problems across the entire range of
Windows tasks, from messaging, drawing, and views to sophisticated methods for managing databases,
multitasking, and network communications. Each example is fully annotated and ready to insert into the
programmer's applications. The CD contains a working project for Visual C++ V5.0 and V6.0 for every
example in the book, as well as the author's own SampleWizard utility that facilitates adding these
examples into users' applications. This volume complements the author's earlier title, Visual C++ MFC
