TICSA (TruSecure ICSA Computer Security Associate) is a popular new entry-level computer security certification aimed at individuals with 2 or more years of computer security experience or training equivalent to 48 hours in a 24 month period. MIKE CHAPPLE, CISSP, GCFW, MCSE, is a computer/network security expert with both public and private sector experience. He has helped develop cutting-edge network intrusion detection systems for the National Security Agency and served as a computer security officer with the U.S. Air Force. He oversees enterprise-wide security initiatives as Chief Information Officer of the Brand Institute, a Miami-based marketing consultancy.

Debra Littlejohn Shinder, MSc, MCT, is an instructor and trainer at Eastfield College in Dallas County, Texas. She is also a technology consultant for TACteam: Training and Consulting, which she co-owns with her husband Tom Shinder. Debra authored Troubleshooting Windows 2000 TCP/lP (Syngress) and has contributed to more than 10 other Windows books published by Syngress and Osborne.
