L'auteur - William Michael Cunningham
Will was first introduced to Houdini at the Academy of Entertainment and Technology. After his training, Will was hired as a Houdini Technical Intern by Side Effects, the creators of the Houdini software package, where his responsibilities included monitoring the technical support lists, assisting in creating Help contents, and interacting with and supporting their production customers. Eager to create effects for the big screen, Will jumped into production with BlackBox Digital on the feature, "The Prince and Me." Shortly thereafter, he also began teaching the Introduction to Houdini class at the Academy. Since then, Will has worked for a number of production houses on a variety of projects. In the Fall of 2004, he was awarded one of three annual Fellowship Grants by Santa Monica Community College to support his efforts in creating this book. Currently, Will is working at Rhythm and Hues Studios on the feature, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" and is creating material for an Intermediate Houdini class which will be offered at the Academy in the Spring semester of 2006
