He started his computing career with PDP 11 and VAX/VMS platforms, covering a variety of languages and platforms. Since the year 2000, he has been working with .NET and C#, developing and architecting distributed solutions. Christian has also written several .NET books, including Professional C#, Beginning Visual C#, and Pro .NET Network Programming. As a Microsoft Regional Director and MVP for Visual C#, he speaks at international conferences, and is INETA Europe Regional Manager (International .NET User Group Association). He has extensive knowledge of programming database-driven Web sites and has authored on the titles Beginning ASP.NET E-Commerce, Professional C#, Second Edition, and Professional ASP.NET 1.0.

Allen Jones has spent his career working for large corporate and financial institutions, successfully developing and implementing solutions based on the Microsoft enterprise product range. Allen has been developing Microsoft Windows® solutions since 1990 and working with Microsoft Windows NT® and Win32® since 1993. He was one of the first MCSEs to qualify anywhere in the world. Allen started programming in Java three years ago, and has since been developing e-commerce and security systems. Allen is a former employee of Microsoft in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
