Eric Ladd is the owner and chief developer of Rock Creek Web Solutions, a Web-based application development firm in Arlington, Virginia. He also is a member of the Interactive Multimedia and Web Development faculty at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Eric has worked on nearly a dozen titles for Que.

Jini O'Donneil works as an aerospace engineer building satellites in metropolitan Washington, D.C. He has three programming and engineering degrees from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute. Jim has been working as an author and technical editor for Macmillan USA for four years, contributing to more than 30 books and co-authoring five.

Mike Morgan is founder and president of DSE, Inc., a full-service Web presence provider and software development shop. The DSE team has developed software for such'companies as Intelect, Magnavox, DuPont, the American Biorobotics Company, and Satellite Systems Corporation, as well as for the government of Iceland and the Royal Saudi Air Force.

Andrew Watt is an independent consultant and experienced author with an interest and expertise in XML and Web technologies. He has written and coauthored more than 10 books on Web development and XML, including XPath Essentials and XML Schema Essentials. He has been programming since 1984, moving to Web development technologies in 1994. He's a well-known voice in several influential online technical communities and is a frequent contributor to many Web development specifications.
