PC Help Desk in a Book: The Do-it-Yourself Guide to PC Troubleshooting and Repair
Résumé
The Do-lt-Yourself Guide to PC Troubleshooting and Repair
Four out of five geeks agree: PC Help Desk in a Book is an elixir for your PC's good health. It's the worktime, buggy-Windows, IRQ-conflict, virus-suffering, bad-cable-connection, and Internet speed-up so-you-can-get-some-work-done medicine!
Problem-solving flowcharts use symptoms to help you diagnose and repair problems, just like medical guides that help self-diagnose health problems. These flowcharts will guide you through broad coverage of common PC maladies found in the hardware, operating system, cabling, and the BIOS. You don't need to be an expert to treat a good PC gone bad.
