is a marketing and technical consultant with Stream International, Inc. and a trainer with Learning Tree International. Ric has over 11 years of experience in the computer industry, focusing on desktop and LAN/WAN implementations. Ric currently holds Microsoft's Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), Novell Certified NetWare Engineer (CNE), and NetWare 4.1 Certified Network Administrator (CNA) certifications. In addition to his certifications, Ric has helped several Fortune 500 and 1000 companies implement Windows NT, Windows 95, NetWare 3.x-4.x, SQL Server, and SMS. Ric has been involved with SMS since it was Hermes, Windows since version 1.0, DOS since 2.0, OS/2 since 1.1, Windows NT since Beta 3.1, and NetWare 2.x since it required keycards.

Rob Cryan is a Senior Engineer with USConnect Baltimore in the Microsoft in the BackOffice Practice Group. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a Certified NetWare Engineer, focusing on providing solutions via Microsoft products ranging from design and consultation services to integration. He specializes in capacity planning, the upper echelon of server and storage products, SMS design and implementation, and remote communications design and implementation, He is also involved with Internet/intranet and firewall solutions. Rob has six years of experience in the computer industry providing support and solutions to a variety of clients. He prefers the quiet of the mountains, but the challenge of fast-paced technology in the Baltimore/Washington area has some appeal.

James Farhat's ongoing passion for all areas of computer technology and telephony were sparked in 1979 when, at age 5, he received his first computer, a TRS 80 Model 3. At age 17, James was providing network installation, integration, and consulting services. At age 19, he was the network administrator for Gates Energy Corporation. James achieved Certified NetWare Engineer (CNE) certification at 19, Certified NetWare Instructor (CNI) and Master CNE certifications at age 20, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification at age 21.
