using and programming computers, including Microsoft Office
XP Inside Out and several editions of Running Microsoft
Office. He also wrote XML Step by Step, contributes to
several computer magazines, and is a freelance
programmer.

Michael Halvorson est auteur ou coauteur d'une vingtaine de livres sur l'informatique. dont Microsoft Office XP Au Quotidien et Formation à Microsoft Visual basic 6.0. Licencié en Science informatique de la Pacific Lutheran University à Tacoma, état de Washington, il a également obtenu une maîtrise et un doctorat en Histoire à la University of Washington de Seattle, état de Washington. De 1985 à 1993, il a occupé des postes d'éditeur technique et de directeur de localisation chez Microsoft Corporation. Il développe actuellement des solutions logicielles innovantes pour Microsoft Office et Visual Basic .NET, et dispense également des cours d'Histoire européenne dans plusieurs universités de la côte nord-ouest américaine.
