L'auteur - Phil Gross
Phil Gross started working with computers back in the days when punch cards were used for input and switches were set to boot the computer. His first authoring project was writing training material for 8086 assembly language programming. He continues to write training materials, and has also written books on Macromedia Director, UNIX, assembly language, OS/2 programming, and other programming topics. In 1974, Phil founded Mel Co., which offers consulting and programming support.
Phil lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, but he'd
generally rather be surfing somewhere in Mexico - in warm
water. According to Phil, his books would never see the
light of day were it not for the collaboration with his
brother Mike, who works from his home in the Oregon woods,
corrects Phil's oversights, and watches his forest
grow.
