Linux Programming White Papers
David Rusling, Ori Pomerantz, Sven Goldt
Résumé
- Provides a topical organization to the programming
portions of the Linux Documentation project (LDP), which is
a series of existing documents on the Internet that
currently has no index, comprehensive table of contents, or
pagination, therefore, making it difficult to search and
find needed information. (This information is freely
publishable under the terms of the GNU license.)
- The LDP is a collaborative effort of approximately 30
leaders in the Linux industry to provide a central location
for Linux documentation. Never before has the entire LDP
been published in printed book form.
- 5% of Coriolis proceeds will be donated back to the
open source industry!
- Saves time otherwise spent downloading large pdf
files-- the format in which the online documentation is
available.
Detailed, in-depth discussions go right to the heart of the technical operation of major Linux subsystems.
Contains numerous diagrams and flowcharts that clarify complex relationships among the components of the Linux architecture.
