Résumé
I Needed It Yesterday!
As a designer, you use Illustrator because it helps you turn your creative inspirations into real artwork. Problem is, you (or your clients) need it now, with no time to waste. That's where this book comes in-to help you do everything faster, to give you the edge to meet those seemingly impossible deadlines. Every little bit helps, so if you can use shortcuts and hidden tricks to get your work done faster, that would be a good thing, right?
Cut to the Chase
Skip the lengthy theory and discussions and get right to the meat of the matter. This book is packed with cover-to-cover,
wall-to-wall tips-the cool tips that appear as an afterthought in other books, combined with many other "tricks of the trade." You'll find tips you never knew existed, right beside that shortcut you probably used at one time but had forgotten all about.
Nothin' But Tips
Don't expect step-by-step instructions on how to draw a vase full of flowers-instead you'll see how to create the vase and the flowers more quickly and more accurately. You'll be locking and unlocking, showing and hiding, making compound paths, copying appearances, and moving files between Illustrator and Photoshop like there's no tomorrow! Productivity, efficiency, accuracy, and creativity-that's what these tips are all about!
