Résumé

Digitize your music library, rip and burn CDs, tune in Internet radio, share files and purchase songs online, create custom playlists, and much more with help from How to Do Everything with Musicmatch. Find out how to copy songs to portable devices, optimize PC sound quality, work with audio players, select the right speakers, and more. A color spotlight section takes you on a visual stroll through several projects

  • Includes step-by-step instructions for tasks such as managing song libraries, copying songs to portable devices (like PDAs and MP3 players), creating playlists, and so on.
  • Because music downloads are such a hot-button issue, the book will focus on the differences between Musicmatch's online music store and file-sharing services like KaZaa. It will also touch on the legal and ethical considerations that accompany file sharing.
  • Teaches readers how to optimize sound quality on their PCs, work with portable audio players, choose the best speakers, and more.
  • The 16 page color spotlight walks you through projects that show you how to create your own playlists and CD mixes

L'auteur - Rick Broida

Rick Broida is the founder and editor of Handheld Computing, the first print magazine specifically for Palm users. He co-authored the previous, editions of the best-selling How to Do Everything with Your Palm Handheld, and How to Do Everything with Your Sony CLIÉ.

L'auteur - Denny Atkin

Denny Atkin has been writing about technology since 1987, a primitive age where pioneer computer users toyed with Atari 800s and Commodore Amigas and actually typed in programs printed in magazines instead of downloading them. His articles have appeared in a variety of magazines ranging from pioneering technology/science publications Compute! and OMNI to Wired, Entertainment Weekly, Computer Gaming World, Computer Shopper, and Handheld Computing magazine.
He has written a number of books, such as the one you’re holding, and has appeared on Tech TV and CNN.
He’s been using handhelds since the days of the original Apple “I don’t understand what you’re trying to write” Newton. He practices what he preaches, typically traveling with a CLIÉ, a folding keyboard, and a Bluetooth cell phone instead of a bulky laptop.
Atkin lives with his wife and son in Vermont, where he’s doing long-term tests of the CLIÉ’s ability to operate during ridiculously lengthy periods of sub-zero temperatures.
