Final Cut Pro 2 Bible

Zed Saeed, Keith Underdahl

1094 pages, parution le 04/01/2002

Résumé

At last there's a comprehensive guide to Final Cut Pro, the world's leading professional software for video editing, compositing, and effects. The Macworld Final Cut Pro 2 Bible by Zed Saeed and Keith Underdahl will show you how to use your DV camera and Final Cut-equipped Mac to create your own professional desktop movie studio-at one-tenth the cost of some competing systems. Indeed, Damien Cave wrote in Salon.com "Final Cut Pro has re-ignited the dream of filmmaking for the masses."

Final Cut Pro is a versatile yet complex program. Budding Steven Spielbergs as well as digital non-linear editing veterans will want this comprehensive reference-tutorial by their computers. The book begins with a Quick Start tutorial to get even novices up and running with Final Cut Pro from day one. Along the way it covers technologies, such as Firewire and QuickTime, which have been key to Final Cut's success. This book also includes coverage of storage solutions, video cards, and other hardware topics.

New user interface and workflow enhancements to Final Cut Pro 2 are discussed in detail. This includes creating real-time dissolves, effects, and transitions-no lengthy rendering required! The Final Cut Pro 2 Bible includes a DVD-ROM jam-packed with valuable plug-ins, scripts, and utilities as well as demo video and audio clips referenced throughout the book.
