For use within the CCNA 3 and 4 courses in the Cisco Networking Academy Program. There are currently over 130,000 students in the US enrolled in the CCNA program through the Networking Academy. The revised CCNA 3.0 curriculum will be available in the spring 2003. The Companion Guide will map directly to the new curriculum and is considered the core textbook of the courses. It presents students with strong pedagogy and learning aids. In addition the book goes beyond the web-based course with enhanced chapters on more difficult subjects, such as advanced routing and IP routing. The companion CD-ROM includes over 500 CCNA exam preparation exam questions to complete preparation for the CCNA exam. The CD-ROM also includes PhotoZooms, e-Lab Activities, and instructional videos.
The Cisco Networking Academy Program curriculum developers of the revised CCNA 3.0 courses are the authors of this series and are based in Phoenix, Arizona. They are experts in the field of educational and the online learning environment.
