Résumé

This book won't teach you how to use the products included in Studio MX 2004 independently. It will teach you how to integrate them efficiently to create a data-driven dynamic site. Building Dynamic Web Sites with Macromedia Studio MX 2004 goes beyond the "how" to explain "why" you perform certain steps so you can apply them to integrating Studio MX 2004 on your own projects. Building Dynamic Web Sites with Macromedia Studio MX 2004 will teach you to:

  • Plan a web application using flow charts
  • Integrate the Studio tools (including Freehand and Director) to make your project flow more seamlessly
  • Design a database
  • Use templates with both web pages and server-side code
  • Build a site based on the CSS capabilities of Dreamweaver
  • Take advantage of video in Flash
  • Use Flash Remoting for your applications
  • Incorporate Flash Communication Server through simple components
