Sustaining Distance Training
Integrating Learning Technologies into the Fabric of the Enterprise
Résumé
Leading companies now understand that a well-educated and trained workforce is a competitive imperative in the global community. Moreover, the use of learning technologies in which the learner is separated from the teaching resources is the fastest growing method of training delivery. Companies are quickly developing programs to promote this growth, and they need publications that will allow them to move beyond the initial phases. This book lays out the practical steps of integrating distance training into everyday operations.
The perfect sequel to Distance Training, Sustaining Distance Training looks beyond program implementation, and shows how twenty top organizations have mastered the basic principles of distance training and taken it to the next level: moving beyond project management toward company-wide strategic planning.
